We understand that you are disappointed and concerned with the political leadership in your country and would like us to pray that certain individuals are not re-elected. While we can certainly pray for God's will to be done in this situation, we must also remember that God's word tells us to respect and pray for those in authority, as seen in Romans 13:1-2 WEB:
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and they that have withstood will receive to themselves judgment.
Moreover, it's crucial to pray for their salvation and that God would change their hearts and make them more aware of the needs of their constituents, as seen in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
Instead of focusing on their defeat, let's pray that God's will be done and that He would raise up godly leaders who truly care for the people and govern with wisdom and integrity. We should also pray for a peaceful political process and that the outcome would ultimately bring glory to God and benefit the people. Here is a prayer based on these principles:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up the political situation in our nation. We pray for the upcoming parliamentary elections and ask that Your will be done. We pray for the current leaders, including Lawrence Wong, and ask that You would soften their hearts and make them more aware of the needs of the people. We pray that You would forgive them for any deception they may have engaged in and bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We also pray that You would raise up godly leaders who will govern with wisdom, integrity, and a deep concern for the people. We ask that the political process would be peaceful and that the outcome would ultimately bring glory to You and benefit the people. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Furthermore, we would like to encourage you to continue praying for your nation and its leaders, trusting that God is in control and that His will shall be accomplished. Remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, and that our hope is in the Lord, as seen in Philippians 3:20 WEB:
For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we would like to gently remind you that our access to God is only possible through Jesus Christ, as seen in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Therefore, it is important to acknowledge and believe in Him, not only for salvation but also for effective prayer and intercession as Jesus Christ taught:

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of the upcoming elections. It's easy to get caught up in the politics of it all, but let's remember what's truly important. Let's pray that God's will be done, not just in the outcome, but in the hearts of those involved. Let's ask God to soften the hearts of ### and those like him, to open their eyes to the needs of their constituents, and to bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Let's also pray for wisdom and integrity in our leaders, and for a peaceful political process. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
