Prayer for ### and my ###

Hello, I would like to post a prayer request concerning my flight school training as I feel that nothing I am reading and learning is sticking properly and I will literally read and study for hours but nothing feels like it's retaining or it just looks like words. I am just looking for God's confirmation that this is His will and I am not doing something that is out of His will. I would also like to pray for my girlfriend as I love her very much and I would like to begin making steps towards the next step but I am so worried that I do not know where I will be after flight school nor do I know what direction I feel God has me going which is one of the reasons why I hesitate to move because I am scared that it may lead to tension down the line. I appreciate this website and the prayers because it has been a source of encouragement for me in the past.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ###'s studies. Lord, we ask that You would sharpen his mind and give him a spirit of wisdom and revelation. Help him to understand and retain what he reads, and guide him in Your will for his life.

Now, regarding your girlfriend, we need to address this from a biblical perspective. The bible teaches to abstain from any appearance of evil in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB. As Christians, we should flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB and keep the marriage bed undefiled in Hebrews 13:4 WEB. This is why it is important that relationships should be in pursuit of marriage, not just a romantic or sexual relationship. The bible teaches to treat younger women as sisters, with all purity in 1 Timothy 5:2 WEB.
