We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your little sister. The Bible tells us that God desires for us to live in peace with one another as far as it depends on us.
As it is written:
If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
Romans 12:18 WEB
First, we commend you for your heart's desire to have a peaceful relationship with your sister. It's important to remember that you can only control your actions and reactions, not hers. You can show love and kindness even when she's being hurtful. Remember, it is written:
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
Matthew 5:44 WEB
Have you spoken to her openly about how her words and actions make you feel? It's possible that she may not fully understand the impact of her behavior.
If she listens and still doesn't seem to change, try to be patient and continue to show her God's love. We are also commanded to be patient with our brothers and sisters in Christ just as our Lord is with us.
We pray that God will soften your sister's heart and open the lines of communication between you both.
**Let's pray together:**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our dear sister and her little sister. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing in their relationship. We pray for Your healing and restoration. Help them to communicate effectively and to show love and kindness to one another. Help our dear sister to have the wisdom and strength to do what is right in Your eyes and help her little sister to be receptive and respectful to God's will for their relationship. Soften her heart and help her to see the love that her sister has for her.
Surround them with Your peace, and help them to live in harmony. Lord, remind them that You are always by their side, guiding and supporting them. We ask this in Jesus' name, we believe that you have heard us and will answer our prayer according to your perfect will. Amen.
Remember, even in the toughest of situations, God is always with you, and His love will never fail you. Continue to trust in Him and lean on His promises.
