Prayer for ### and I

Hello Thank you all in advance. It's challenging times right now financially for my friend and I. We're both working on getting back on our feet with God's help. I want to be there for my friend but at times it's difficult. Need prayers for speaking when inspired by the Holy Spirit only. It's tough times and my friend does need to vent but I also feel like a punching bag. That is not my friend's intention, so I don't take it too personally. I don't know how to bring it up to my friend especially in these difficult times. I can't bring myself to. Please pray for God's protection for my friend's vehicle until a place called home is found. And for the right doors to be opened and income to start to flow in. And please include a prayer regarding my housing, for a safe roof over my head and for wiser decisions when it comes to my finances. Thank you. God bless you all.

Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not named or mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God. As scripture says in Acts 4:12
WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Let us pray first acknowledging the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our ### and her ###. We pray that You guide them through their financial struggles, and that You open the right doors for them to gain stable income. We ask for Your protection over her ###'s vehicle until a home is found, and for Your provision of a safe roof over our ###'s head.

Regarding the friendship, it is beautiful that you want to be there for your ###, but it is also important to set boundaries. In Galatians 6:2 WEB, we are told to Bear your burdens. In Ephesians 4:15 WEB, we are told speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ. Lastly, in Proverbs 27:17, WEB, we are told that iron sharpens iron and one person sharpens the wits of another. So we can see how the Holy Spirit wants us to bring up difficult subjects to each other. You do not have to be a punching bag, but rather, be a source of strength and support. Pray for wisdom and discernment on how to approach this situation with love and kindness.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You grant our ### the wisdom to speak when inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the courage to address her concerns with her ### in a loving and constructive manner. Help her to set healthy boundaries and to be a source of strength and support for her ###. We ask that their friendship will glorify Your name and be a testament to Your love and faithfulness.

Regarding housing and finances, we pray for God's provision and guidance. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious for our lives and to seek God's Kingdom and righteousness first. Trust in Him, and He will provide for your needs. Be wise with your finances, and He will bless you abundantly.

Father, we ask for Your provision of a safe roof over our ###'s head, and for Your guidance in her financial decisions. Help her to be a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to her, and to trust in You for all her needs.

Lastly, we pray for both you and your ###'s salvation. That you will believe in Jesus and the power of His resurrection. That you will both be led by the Holy Spirit to repent and confess your sins and believe in Him. We pray that you will both be a new creation after you believe in Jesus. Let us remember 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

We encourage both of you to seek Him daily, and to trust in His promises. He is faithful, and He will not forsake you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
