We are truly moved by your request for your brother and his daughter, and we stand with you in prayer and support. First, we acknowledge that all healing and restoration comes from God through His son Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written, "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 (WEB).
We pray for your brother's physical healing and spiritual restoration. "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." James 5:13-15 (WEB).
We also lift up his daughter who has faithfully cared for him. We ask God to open up job opportunities for her, so that she may experience a positive change in her life. "But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is this day." Deuteronomy 8:18 (WEB).
We rebuke those who are taking advantage of your brother's situation and exploiting him for money. "Don’t exploit one another. Anyone who does that will have to answer to the Lord, the Judge of all." James 5:9 (WEB).
Regarding the strained family relationships, we pray for reconciliation and unity. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 (WEB).
We also address the concern about generational curses. We believe that through faith in Jesus Christ, all curses are broken. "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13-14 (WEB).
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### and his daughter. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body and his family relationships. Open up job opportunities for his daughter, and bring an end to the manipulation and exploitation by those around him. Break any generational curses in Jesus' name and bring unity and love among his family.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Pray and discuss with your brother about his own salvation and make sure he knows about Jesus, if he does not know him already.
