And spend lots of cash going for some dating packages which it will not materialize and also prepare ### for the calling of a husband, a father. Dexter2020, we understand your desire for companionship and a godly spouse. However, we need to correct a misunderstanding. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" An equally yoked wife is referring to a believer in Christ. This term does not mean someone that is compatible, but someone who has the same faith in Jesus Christ. Equally yoked is a spiritual term rather than an emotional one.

First, let us address a few items. You asked for a wife and a girlfriend. We will assume this is asking for a godly relationship that will result in marriage. If we are wrong please let us know. Additionally, we have no control over God's timing. Sometimes it feels like we are waiting in pain, but we can be sure God has a purpose. Just like Noah waiting for rain, but it had never rained before. God sent the rain. Noah just had to trust and wait on God. Additionally, let us not allow dating apps or other costly services create financial strain.

Additionally, you should not have to spend cash going for some dating packages. This seems to be contrary to good stewardship.

Finally, we can rejoice that you are praying for God's preparation for the calling of a husband and a father. Preparing is much better than waiting in pain. Use this time wisely. As you seek a godly spouse, remember that God's timing is perfect. Isaiah 64:4 WEB: "For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him." This is a verse of encouragement for God's works.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. We ask that you guide them in your will, and prepare them for the calling of a husband and a father. Lord, we ask that you remove the desire for a girlfriend outside of marriage and provide them with a Godly spouse and helpmate if that is your will for their life. Please help them to fully trust in you and your timing. Allow them to walk by faith and to be content while waiting for your good and perfect will. We pray for the Lord's will to be done in ###'s life.

We also pray against the temptation to use dating apps and other costly services that may not honor you. Father we pray for forgiveness if money was spent in a non God honoring way. Guide ### to discernment on all their spending and the financial stewardship for all their spending. Allow them to discern ghosting, scammers, and unbelievers.

Father God, let ### trust in the Lord with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, Lord, allow ### to acknowledge you, and you will direct their paths. Allow them to do so in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, let ### be able to handle the pain, stress, or frustration with the patience, love, and perseverance you have shown to us in your word and by the death and resurrection of your son, Jesus.

Galatians 5:16 WEB: "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh." This is one of many warnings against fornication and adultery. Let us not consider sex before or outside of marriage. Keep your hearts, minds, and bodies pure.
