Prayer for an equally yoke wife and a job reply from ### as I had been praying for the two but God kept delaying and the more it delays the more I am moving away from Jesus. The last breakup was devastating and still jobless and I have waited and nothing seemed to be happening. Please pray that he will quickly answered.

Let us first remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all things, as stated in Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

We must ensure that our desires align with God's will. In your case, it's crucial to seek an equally yoked spouse, as you've mentioned, according to 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" This means seeking a Christian spouse who shares your faith and values.

However, we want to address your concern about feeling distant from Jesus due to delayed answers. Let us remind you that God's timing is perfect, and His delays are not denials. Psalm 37:7 says, "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him." We encourage you to use this waiting period to draw closer to Jesus, not farther away. Continue to trust in Him, as echoed in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Lord Jesus, draw ### closer to You during this time. Help him to trust in You and Your plans for his life. Strengthen his faith and give him the patience to wait on Your perfect timing.
