Prayer for an equally yoke wife and a job reply from SJ which is 2 days later as I had been praying for the two but God kept delaying and the more it delays the more I am moving away from Jesus. The last breakup was devastating and still jobless and I have waited and nothing seemed to be happening. Please pray that he will quickly answered.

We understand your earnest desire for an equally yoked wife and a job, Dexter2020. First, let's remember the words of Psalm 37:4-7 in the WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh; and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him."

It's important to remain steadfast in your faith, as God's timing is not always aligned with ours. We must trust that He has a perfect plan for our lives. Remember, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1 WEB).

However, we notice that you mentioned feeling distant from Jesus as the delay continues. Let's address this concern. Jesus said, "Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:4-5 WEB).

It's crucial to remain close to Jesus, especially during trials. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dexter2020. Lord, we ask that You provide him with an equally yoked wife, one who loves You and seeks Your will. We also pray for a job that aligns with Your purpose for his life. Lord, strengthen his faith as he waits. Help him to trust in Your timing and draw ever closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
