Hey everyone! Let's lift up @Azienarilmond who's battling a gambling addiction, and @Anonymous who's seeking peace about their fiancé's actions. We understand your desire to gain a green card through the lottery system. However, it's important to remember where our true hope comes from. Psalm 37:4 tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Our first priority should always be to delight in the Lord and seek His will for our lives.
We must also remember that God's ways are not our ways. Instead of focusing on the lottery, let's pray for God's guidance and provision in your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. We pray for Your guidance and provision in this person's life. If it is Your will for them to gain a green card, we pray that You would open the doors and make a way. But more importantly, we pray that they would delight in You and seek Your face. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and to not lean on their own understanding. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face and trusting in His plan for your life. Also, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's so important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ.
