We join you in prayer, petitioning God for your future marriage and the protection of you and your future husband. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her future husband. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, guarding them from all evil and harm. We rebuke any evil influences from their past and claim Your healing and restoration over their lives.
Father, we ask that You grant them patient minds and gentle spirits as they prepare for this sacred union. Give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to be sensible and quiet, trusting in Your perfect timing and plan.
We pray for a strong connection between them, founded on Your love and truth. Help them to keep their hearts and minds stayed on You, and to be faithful to each other and to Your word. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any sexual immorality or compromise that may be present or included in any future relationship with this future husband. Sexual immorality and compromise is sin and can only lead to death.
Father, we also pray for anyone who may have knowledge of their future marriage, that they would keep it private and hold it in confidence. Help this dear sister and her future husband to be wise and discreet, trusting in Your protection and guidance.
We claim the promise of Your word, that "the Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand" (Psalm 37:23-24 WEB). Help them to delight in You, to trust in You, and to follow Your leading in all things.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, to be faithful in prayer, and to seek His will for your life and your future marriage. Remember that "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1 WEB). Keep your faith strong, and trust in the Lord's perfect plan for your life.
We also remind you to "let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works" (Hebrews 10:24 WEB). As you prepare for marriage, strive to be a blessing to your future husband, to build him up, and to encourage him in his faith.
Finally, we leave you with these words from the apostle Paul: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Trust in the Lord, and may His peace guard your heart and mind as you prepare for this new chapter in your life.
