Prayer for Alingment

Our relationship came to an end recently when we found it difficult to come together due to the increasing strain of a long distance relationship. We believe the Lord brought us together for a purpose, and like one another a lot.

I would like you to please pray that the Lord will heal us and perfect the things that concern us spirit, soul and body. Bring us into a full alignment with Himself and His purpose, and then help us get into alignment with one another and bring us back together again at the right time.

In the meantime, I pray that we will experience the peace of God that passes all understanding.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in humble prayer, lifting up ###'s request for alignment and healing. Lord, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your perfect plan for each of our lives. Your Word says, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask that You heal the hearts of ### and the person they care about. Mend the wounds caused by the distance and the strain it has placed on their relationship. Your Word promises, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May Your healing touch be upon them, restoring their spirit, soul, and body.

Lord, bring ### and the other person into full alignment with Your will and purpose. Help them to seek You first in all things, as it is written, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Guide their steps and decisions, that they may walk in Your ways and fulfill the purpose You have for them.

We also pray for Your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding, to envelop them during this time of separation. Your Word says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you" (Isaiah 26:3). May they trust in You fully and find solace in Your presence.

Father, if it is Your will, we ask that You bring them back together at the right time, in alignment with each other and with You. Let Your love and grace be the foundation of their relationship, and may they glorify You in all that they do.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
