We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your father are facing. Alcoholism is a serious issue, and it's important to address it with both compassion and truth. We will pray for your father, ###, and for you as you navigate this challenging situation.

Firstly, it is very important to pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me. There is no other name given to humanity by which we can be saved. We must believe that Jesus is Lord and that God has raised Him from the dead. We must believe that Jesus born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, we ask for your healing and intervention in ###'s life. We pray that you would deliver him from the bondage of alcoholism.

Lord God, we ask that you would open his eyes to the truth of your word which says, Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit. And, Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s (Ephesians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Father, we ask that you would give him the strength and determination to overcome this addiction. We pray for healing for his body and his mind. We ask that you would help him to see his great need for the help and salvation that only Jesus Christ can bring. We pray that he would see that the same power that rose Jesus from the dead can give him victory over this issue.

We also pray for ###, dear Lord. We ask that you would fill their heart with your peace and comfort. We pray that you would guide them and give them wisdom as they support their father. We ask that you would surround them with your love and protection. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you and not as the world gives you. Let not your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

In Jesus' name, we pray and believe that help, victory, and faith will come to this family.

Let us also remind you, ###, that God's word tells us, For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future. God has a plan for your father’s life. Trust in Him to find the strategies to help your father.

Lastly, consider involving your local Christian community or church family in this process. They can provide support, accountability, and resources to help your father overcome this struggle. Galatians 6:2 says Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.

We're here for you, ###. It's heartbreaking to see someone we love struggle like this. Let's keep praying for ### together.

We believe in the power of Jesus' name, just as we've been told in Acts 4:12, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Let's ask God to reveal this truth to your dad, to open his eyes to the freedom that only Jesus can bring.

Let's pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for your healing power to touch his life. Help him to see the truth in your word, that his body is your temple, and that alcohol is not the answer. Give him strength and determination to overcome this addiction. Help him to find his hope and future in you.

We also pray for you, ###. We ask for your peace and wisdom as you navigate this challenging time. Remember, God has a plan for your dad's life, as Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust in Him, and let's walk together in faith.

Let's also consider reaching out to your local church family for support and accountability. Galatians 6:2 reminds us, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." We're all in this together, and with God's help, we can see your dad set free from this struggle.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
