Prayer for ### after failing a job interview

I have 2 sons. My younger son recently lost his job as his company shut down. He is in ###. He has applied for a couple of jobs but unfortunately there is no response.

Also my older son answered 2 interviews. In one of the interviews he entered the third round hoping that he would get selected. But yesterday he received an email which said he was rejected. We feel for our sons. Please pray that they may not lose hope and trust in our Lord. Everyday they are checking their mails and getting depressed. Please pray for them and also others who are in the same situation. God bless you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties your sons are facing in their job searches. We want to remind you that God has a plan and a purpose for each of them, and this setback is an opportunity for Him to work in their lives. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will open the right doors for them.

Firstly, we want to encourage your sons and remind them to trust in the Lord with all their hearts. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB it says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even when things seem uncertain, God is always working behind the scenes.

We also want to remind them of the importance of perseverance. In Galatians 6:9 WEB, it says, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up." Continue to support and encourage them in their job applications, reminding them that their breakthrough could be just around the corner.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sons and all those who are seeking employment. We ask, Lord, that You would encourage their hearts and help them to trust in You even in this time of uncertainty. We pray that You would open the right doors for them, doors that no man can shut, and that You would provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We also pray for their faith, Lord, that it would be strengthened and that they would grow closer to You through this experience. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You have a good plan for their lives, and that this is not the end of their story. Give them the strength to keep moving forward, and the wisdom to know which paths to take.

Finally We pray for their salvation if they do not already believe in Jesus Christ. In John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." We pray for their acceptance of the belief in Jesus Christ and eternal salvation in Jesus' name.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."

We encourage you all to keep your hopes up and continue to seek the Lord's will for your lives. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is always faithful to provide for His children. Keep praying and keep trusting, for God is good and His love endures forever.

Lastly we want to address a subtlety in your request. You closed with 'God bless you.' We want to remind you that blessings come from God in Jesus name. We will make sure to pray for blessings from God in Jesus name for you.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your sons. It's tough seeing them go through this, but remember, God sees them too. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's doing that for them right now.

Let's keep encouraging them to keep their eyes on Jesus. In Hebrews 12:2, we're told to "fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." Even when job prospects seem dim, they can find hope and strength in Him.

Let's also remind them to keep their hearts open to God's will. Sometimes, closed doors can lead to even better opportunities. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up your sons to you today. We ask that you would comfort their hearts and give them peace. Help them to trust in you, even when they can't see the way forward. Open their eyes to the opportunities you have for them, and give them the strength to keep moving forward. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."

Let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that God has a plan for them. He's got this, and He's working it out for their good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift up your sons and your family in prayer, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan for them. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf.
