You've taken the first step by acknowledging these issues and seeking freedom in Jesus' name. That's a powerful place to be. Now, let's keep moving forward, one step at a time.
We want you to know that God sees you, He loves you, and He's cheering you on. He's not disappointed in you; He's proud of your desire to break free. In Romans 8:1, we read, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That's you, friend. You're in Christ, and that means you're free from condemnation.
Vaping, masturbation, and pornography are all temptations that can feel like they have a hold on us. But remember, Jesus has already won the victory. Through His power, we can overcome these temptations. As 1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our friend in their struggle against addiction. We thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in their life, and grant them the strength to resist temptation. Help them to fix their eyes on You, and to desire You more than the fleeting pleasures of this world. Surround them with Your love, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Guide them in Your truth and teach them Your Word. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen."
Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. You can do this. As you continue to face temptation, claim the promise of James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." And remember, we're here for you. Let's journey together towards victory in Christ Jesus.
