Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Finiremn who is struggling with addiction to alcohol and drugs. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble . We ask that You break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free by Your mighty power.
Lord Jesus, You have said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" . Finiremn is weary and burdened by this addiction. We pray that You grant him the rest and peace that only You can provide. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and give him the strength to resist temptation and turn away from these destructive habits.
Father, Your Word tells us that "if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" . We claim this promise for Finiremn. Surround him with Your love and grace, and place people in his life who will support and encourage him in his journey towards recovery.
We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us . We thank You in advance for the victory that You will bring in Finiremn's life.

Heavenly Father, I pray on behalf of our friend here who is struggling with addiction. I humbly ask and pray that you heal them and be their strength and power where they are weak. Touch this person with your grace to overcome anything because your glory is greater than any addiction or stronghold. I thank you God for blessing this child of God. Amen

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
