We stand with you in prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over the upcoming events and needs you've shared. Let us bring your requests before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His will.
As we approach the Easter season, we pray for safety on the roads. We ask that drivers would abstain from alcohol, as it clouds judgment and puts lives at risk. We remember, "Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.'" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB) Let us not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, but rather, "Let us walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts." (Romans 13:13-14 WEB)
Concerning the by-elections, we pray for a peaceful and fair process. We rebuke any attempts at cheating, noise-making, or collapsing other parties. We stand against any evil heart among leaders and pray for integrity and righteousness to prevail. "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior," (1 Timothy 2:1-3 WEB)
We lift up your family members, asking for God's protection, provision, and healing. We pray for their health and well-being, knowing that "the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up." (James 5:15 WEB)
We also pray for the success of students in their exams. We ask that God would grant them wisdom, understanding, and recall. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB)
Lastly, we pray for your nephew, that God would open doors of opportunity for him and grant him favor in finding a job. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
We are encouraged that you have pleaded all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, which is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 declares "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up these needs, asking for Your intervention, guidance, and blessing. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
