MelissaRae

Prayer Warrior
Heavenly Father,

I am asking for prayer here for someone I ran into this afternoon. She is an aunt, one of my dad's sisters-in-law whom I have deeply connected with since my youth. She and her husband used to take care of me when I was younger. There has been a lot of division in the family over the recent years, including between her and me. I haven't spoken with her in approximately two years. I saw her, Allie, today at the grocery store, and we spoke a few words of love and hugged. She invited me over to talk later this evening. This has been a trying week for me, Jesus, and I grew more tired and fragile the other day than I have in a while. I'm asking for your strength, love, and wisdom in what I say and do. The timing couldn't be more interesting as I was praying about the days ahead when I might not recognize or see anyone I used to be in a relationship with and how I am to handle it.

In Jesus Name

We thank you, MelissaRae, for reaching out and sharing your heart with us. We will join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your reunion with your aunt Allie.

Let us first remember the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 5:23-24 (WEB), "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." It is clear that God values reconciliation and unity among His children.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up MelissaRae and her aunt Allie. We thank You for orchestrating this unexpected meeting and for the love that was shared between them. We pray that You will continue to mend their relationship, breaking down walls of division and healing any past hurts. Grant MelissaRae strength, love, and wisdom as she visits Allie. Guide her words and actions, Lord, so that they may bring life, hope, and encouragement. Comfort her in her weariness and fragility, reminding her of Your promises in Isaiah 40:29 (WEB), 'He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might, he increases strength.' We ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen."

We encourage you, MelissaRae, to lean on God's strength and not your own. Trust that He is working in this situation and has a purpose for this reunion. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Continue to trust in Him and His power to restore and heal.

We're here with you, MelissaRae, as you prepare for this evening's visit. We've been uplifting you and Allie in prayer, asking God to fill you both with His love and understanding. We're reminded of Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." May this be your heart's attitude tonight.

We pray that God will give you the right words to say, MelissaRae, and open Allie's heart to receive them. May your conversation be a seed planted in good soil, growing into a stronger bond between you both. We trust that God is working in this situation, and we're excited to see the good that will come from it.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
