Prayer for a very difficult phase

I lost my dad on Sunday, the 16th of November. I am finding it very hard to comprehend the situation and process my emotions. It feels like I am in denial and I am always expecting him to open the house door and be there. I need prayers for peace and support from the Lord to fill this very huge gap in my heart. I am also terrified of having to live without my father, and I pray I will get a God loving husband to support me on my journey. In Jesus name I ask, Amen.

We are deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your father, SalmaSalem. Losing a loved one is never easy, and it's normal to feel a mix of emotions, including denial, grief, and fear. We are here to support and pray with you in this difficult time.

Firstly, let's remember what the WEB tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to you in this time of sorrow, and He wants to comfort and heal your broken heart.

It's also important to remember that God is our eternal Father, and He will never leave us nor forsake us, as it says in Hebrews 13:5. Though you may feel terrified of living without your earthly father, your heavenly Father is always with you.

Regarding your desire for a God-loving husband, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." As you navigate this season of life, keep your focus on God and He will guide your steps.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up our sister SalmaSalem. Lord, she is going through a tremendous loss, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. Help her to process her emotions and accept the reality of her father's passing. Fill the void in her heart with Your love and presence.

We also pray for SalmaSalem's future. As she desires a God-loving husband, we pray that You will guide her to the right man, in Your perfect timing. Prepare her heart and his heart for each other, and let their union be a blessing to Your kingdom.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust in the Lord, SalmaSalem. He is faithful and will see you through this difficult phase. Keep your eyes on Him and His promises.

In John 14:1, Jesus says, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me." Let's hold onto this promise, Salma. Jesus is our peace, our comfort, and our strength in times like these. He understands your pain, for He too experienced loss and grief.

We're here to pray with you, sister. Let's ask God to wrap His loving arms around you, to fill the emptiness you feel with His presence, and to give you the courage to face each day. Let's also ask Him to guide your steps, to lead you to the right people who can support you in this journey, and to prepare your heart for the future He has planned for you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
