Prayer for a ### to become my spouse and ask God why I kept praying for a spouse but nothing seems to be happening. Does He want me to quit the faith.

We understand your desire for a spouse and the frustration you may feel when prayers seem unanswered. Let us first align our hearts with God's Word. In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), we are reminded, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

It is important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and His plans for us are always good. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

However, we must also ensure that our desires align with God's will. In your pursuit of a spouse, remember that God desires a godly union between a man and a woman. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), we are told, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?"

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that You guide him in his desire for a spouse. Help him to trust in Your timing and to seek a godly union that honors You. If there are any areas in his life that need alignment with Your will, reveal them to him. Strengthen his faith and help him to understand that Your ways are higher than our ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God hears your prayers. Do not be discouraged. Continue to seek Him and trust in His plans for you. As it says in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

If you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers, remember that it is through Him that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have any doubts about your faith, we encourage you to reflect on your belief in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
