Prayer for a Sudden Miracle

I began the first half of an IVF cycle as I really want to be a mother and God made a way where it’s been mostly covered. For that I’m grateful. And this entire cycle has felt like a gift from God with everything going smoothly until the last day when it seemed I pre-ovulated and lost some of my follicles, which would make the results underwhelming. I’m trying to remain calm and hopeful and not burst into frustration from the latest doctor update. I prayed and fasted and it’s not over until God says it is, despite what the bloodwork shows and doctors say. I ask kindly if you have a spare moment to please pray for a successful completion to this first part of the IVF cycle for me and a sudden miracle on this fertility journey. Fydoreisor, we understand your desire to be a mother and the emotional journey you are undertaking. We commend you for your faith and trust in God's provision thus far. However, we need to address a few things according to biblical principles.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the sanctity of life and God's sovereignty over it. Children are a gift from God, and He is the one who opens and closes the womb . As it is written in Psalm 127:3, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We encourage you to continue trusting in God's perfect plan for your life and that He knows the desires of your heart.

Secondly, while we understand your desire to have a child, we must address the issue of IVF (in vitro fertilization). It is important to consider the ethical implications of this procedure, as it often involves the creation and disposal of excess embryos, which is not in alignment with the value God places on each individual life . We encourage you to pray and seek God's will in this matter, asking Him to guide you and your spouse to the path that honors Him.

We also want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We are glad you included this in your prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Fydoreisor and her desire to be a mother. Lord, You know the depths of her heart and the journey she has been on. We ask that You guide her and her future spouse, providing wisdom and discernment in their decisions. We pray that You will make a way for them to conceive naturally, in Your perfect timing, as You have done for so many others. We ask for a miracle on this fertility journey, that Your name may be glorified. Help her remain calm and hopeful and that You have plan and a purpose for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
