We appreciate your heartfelt request, Dexter2020, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will as we intercede on your behalf. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Forgiveness is a divine mandate, and it is clear that unforgiveness can hinder our own relationship with God. It is commendable that you are surrendering this burden to Jesus, for He is the only one who can heal your heart and grant you the grace to forgive. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dexter2020. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. Lord, we pray that You would grant Dexter2020 a heart of forgiveness. Help him to release the pain and hurt caused by Pastor Samuel, Brian Phe, and others. We pray for their repentance and for healing on all sides. We ask that You would fill Dexter2020 with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also pray for Pastor Samuel and Brian Phe. We pray that they would be convicted by Your Holy Spirit and brought to repentance. We pray that they would be transformed by the renewing of their minds and that they would be used for Your glory.
Lord, we ask that You would help Dexter2020 to walk in obedience to Your word. We pray that he would be freed from the bondage of unforgiveness and that he would be a vessel of Your love and mercy. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to You. It is also only by His name that we can be saved. May Dexter2020 continue to seek and serve Jesus Christ in all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Dexter2020, to continue to seek God's face and to meditate on His word. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He is also faithful to help us forgive others. We recommend reading and meditating on Matthew 18:21-35, where Jesus teaches about forgiveness through the parable of the unforgiving servant.
