We stand with you in prayer, ###, as you pour out your heart to God on this Valentine's Day. We are reminded of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up ### to You, asking for Your comfort and healing to envelope their broken heart. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted and that Your love is unfailing. Today, on a day that celebrates earthly love, we ask that You fill ### with Your divine love.
We bring ### before You, Lord. We pray that if it is Your will, You would reignite his passion for ### and guide his heart towards her. We ask that You reveal to him the significance of marriage as a lifelong commitment, a covenant made before You of one man and one woman. If it is not Your will, we pray that You would grant ### the strength and courage to let go and move forward. May she find strength in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be dismayed not, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Father, we ask for Your guidance and clarity for ###'s future. Remind them of the sacredness of marriage and a family, as outlined in the Bible. We pray that if it is Your will, You would prepare the way for a godly spouse for ###, a marriage that honors and glorifies You.
We also pray for ###'s complete healing and restoration. May they find comfort in Your words, "I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow." - Jeremiah 31:13.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who makes all things new. Amen.
###, continue to cast your cares on the Lord, as He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you ever need support remind yourself of this truth.
