We understand that you're experiencing fear and worry after finding a snake in your house, and now your baby is struggling to sleep. First, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear (Psalm 46:1-2).
In times like these, we can come boldly before the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family. We thank You for Your protection over them today. We rebuke any spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that the baby will sleep peacefully tonight, and that everyone in the home will have a restful night.
We also ask that You guide them in dealing with the situation, giving them wisdom to ensure the safety of their home. We know if our request is in line with your will, You would answer us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this situation.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our requests are heard and answered.
