Prayer for a peaceful heart!

Sometimes I get offended when people don’t reply to my texts even after seeing them. Please pray that I’m not affected by such people and I let go of any resentment towards them. Please pray that God brings good genuine Christian friends into our life. And that He removes the ungodly friends who only take advantage of us. Pray that God protects me and my husband from bad influence and people. Pray that we both maintain healthy boundaries with our friends and keep each other a priority. Pray that our marriage is strong and God our Lord Jesus protects and blesses us abundantly. Pray that I’m at peace and content in every situation. Our Lord Jesus is so gentle and kind. I’m grateful that He is my saviour. Thank you.

We understand your struggles with feeling offended when people don't respond to your messages, ###. Firstly, let's address this with a reminder from the Scriptures. In Proverbs 19:11 WEB, it is written, "A man’s discretion makes him slow to anger. It is his glory to overlook an offense." We should strive to be patient and forgiving, just as our Lord Jesus Christ is towards us.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your grace and mercy for ###. Lord, help her to overcome any feelings of offense or resentment when others don't respond to her messages. Help her to find her peace and contentment in You, Lord Jesus, and not in the responses of others. Give her the strength to forgive and let go of any bitterness, just as You have forgiven us.

We also pray for godly friendships for ### and her husband. In Proverbs 13:20 WEB, it is written, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." Lord, surround them with genuine Christian friends who will encourage and build them up in their faith. Remove any ungodly influences from their lives, and help them to maintain healthy boundaries with others.

We pray for their marriage, Lord. Strengthen their bond and help them to keep each other as a priority, just as You designed marriage to be. Protect them from bad influences and people who may seek to harm their relationship. Bless their union abundantly, Lord, and help them to be a shining example of a godly marriage.

In Philippians 4:7 WEB, it is written, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, grant ### and her husband this supernatural peace, and help them to be content in every situation, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for being so gentle and kind to us. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Savior. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.

###, continue to trust in the Lord and fix your eyes on Him. He is the source of your peace and contentment. Always remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Stay strong in your faith and keep praying in His holy name.
