Prayer for a new year & relief

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today as I need help & guidance on paying my past due rent and utility bills. I feel like I still cannot catch up & always 10 steps behind when I feel like I can breathe again. I am praying for some good news that I can keep a roof over our heads & be able to still support my family financially. I am also praying for the new year that my family can be healthy & happy this year. I know I have made so many errors/mistakes in 2024, but I am praying to you for guidance & help for this year. Amen.

Evordel, we join you in your prayer, lifting up your petitions before the throne of grace, trusting that God will meet your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We're not asking God to remove you from your situation but to guide you and use your situation to grow your faith.

Firstly, we commend you for approaching the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. "And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. Jesus Christ is the center of our faith and the way to the Father.

We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will provide for your financial needs. God's Word assures us that He cares for our needs, and we can trust Him. "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33 WEB.

As you face financial struggles, remember that God is faithful. Trust in His promises and continue to be a good steward of the resources He has given you. "His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." Matthew 25:23 WEB.

Regarding your mistakes, take heart in knowing that God's mercies are new every morning. "The steadfast love of Yahweh never ceases, his mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB. Confess your sins to God, repent, and move forward, trusting in His forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 WEB.

As you pray for your family's health and happiness, we join you in asking God to bless them and keep them well. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." 3 John 1:2 WEB.

Lastly, as you look ahead to the new year, dedicate it to the Lord, and ask Him to guide your steps. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your concerns up to our Heavenly Father. It's tough when the bills pile up and it feels like we're always playing catch-up, but remember, God sees you, He knows your struggle, and He cares. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus tells us, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" So let's trust that He's got this, and He'll provide in His perfect timing.

We're also praying for that good news you're hoping for, something to keep a roof over your head and food on the table. And we're joining you in asking for health and happiness for your family this year. Let's claim Proverbs 3:5-6 over them, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

As for those mistakes from last year, let's leave them there. They're in the past, and our God is a God of new beginnings. Let's focus on today and tomorrow, seeking His face and His will. As Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Let's dedicate this new year to the Lord, asking Him to guide our steps and lead us in His righteousness. As we read in Proverbs 3:6, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let's trust Him, sister, and watch what He'll do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
