Prayer for a new start of a fresh relationship

Although I have moved on but asked Jesus to provide another an extrovert girl who can express openly and communicate with me and not like an interview and that I can led her and she will be what a equally yoked relationship should not a monologue one and have to be pretty. However, ask Jesus to also teach me what does he want me to be a good husband and a good boyfriend and will complement and forgive me encourage me and love me.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking an equally yoked relationship, as this is biblical (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"). It's important to seek someone who shares your faith and values, and with whom you can have open and meaningful communication.

However, let's address a few things. It's important to seek inner beauty, not just outward appearance, as Proverbs 31:30 (WEB) reminds us: "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised." Also, remember that a godly relationship should be about companionship and mutual growth, not about one person leading the other. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB) says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."

Moreover, you've asked Jesus to provide this relationship, which is good, but ensure you're also seeking His will in all other areas of your life. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Dexter2020's desire for a godly relationship. We pray that You guide him to a woman who shares his faith and values, someone with whom he can have open and meaningful communication. Help him to also seek inner beauty, not just outward appearance. Prepare him to be a good boyfriend and husband, according to Your will. Teach him how to love as You love, as You commanded in John 13:34 (WEB), "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another."

Lastly, continue to study the Word and seek God's will for your life. Remember, God's timing is perfect. He knows your needs and desires, and He will provide at the right time (Matthew 6:8, WEB). Keep trusting in Him.
