Let us bring your requests before the Lord in Jesus' name, remembering that He cares for us and wants the best for us. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB
Firstly, we lift up your health and safety to the Lord. We pray that He will protect you from all harm and danger, and that He will grant you good health, both physically and mentally. "But you, Yahweh, don’t remove your loving kindnesses from me. Preserve me according to your loving kindness." Psalm 40:11 WEB
We also pray for guidance as you seek a new job or business that you would truly enjoy. We ask that the Lord will reveal your passions and purposes, and that He will open doors to opportunities that align with His will for you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We pray that you will be able to fulfill your current job requirements until your planned retirement next January in a way that pleases our Lord. We want to remember to look to him in all things and for the strength to do our jobs to the best of our abilities. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," Colossians 3:23 WEB
We lift up your husband, praying for his health, safety, and the prosperity of his businesses, when it aligns with the will of God. We also want to remind you to trust in the Lord and to follow His principles in all business dealings. Pray for his business decisions to be led by the Lord. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
We pray for your son, that he will pass his exams and find joy in his schooling. We pray that he will apply himself to his studies and that the Lord will grant him understanding and wisdom. Pray to him to stay on the narrow path. "Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 WEB
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ central to your life and prayers. It is through His name that we have access to the Father. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23 WEB. Continue to trust in Him, and know that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
Let us pray together in Jesus' name and in agreement:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up these requests and needs. We ask for Your healing touch, protection, and guidance. We pray for new opportunities and clarity of purpose. We ask for Your blessing and provision. We pray for wisdom and success. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
