We join you, Powers, in lifting up this day to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
As you pray for protection over you and your children, we declare the promise of Psalm 91 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
We also agree with you for healing of your hearts, souls, and bodies. We stand on the promise of 3 John 1:2 WEB: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Remember, healing is an integral part of the atonement, as Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross (Matthew 8:17 WEB).
In seeking favor and spiritual growth, we remind you of Hebrews 4:16 WEB: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We pray that you and your children will continually draw near to God, growing in His grace and knowledge.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Powers and their children. We thank You for this new day and the gift of life. We ask for Your divine protection over them, guarding their coming in and going out. We pray for healing over their hearts, souls, and bodies, trusting in Your promises. Grant them favor and spiritual growth. May they continually draw near to You, finding mercy and grace in their time of need. May they walk in Your ways, growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
As you go through this day, Powers, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
