Brandon, we understand your struggle and your desperate need for a move of God in your life. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for professing the Christian faith since 2012. It is important to remember that our faith is not just a profession, but a lifelong journey of growth and transformation. As you've mentioned, you're at a point where you need an encounter with God, much like Jacob at Peniel (Genesis 32:22-32 WEB). This is a powerful realization, and we encourage you to hold onto this desire.
However, we want to address a few things that may be hindering your walk with God and your relationships with others. The Bible tells us that we are to be conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29 WEB), which includes how we treat others. You mentioned that you have serious relationship issues and keep clashing with everyone, including fellow Christians. We must strive to live in unity and love with our fellow believers, as Jesus prayed for us to be one as He and the Father are one (John 17:21 WEB).
Remember, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18 WEB) and "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).
Regarding your physical appearance, remember that God looks at the heart, and so should we (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB). It's important to focus on cultivating inner beauty and Christ-like character.
Concerning your singleness, God's timing is perfect. Use this time to draw closer to Him and to prepare yourself for the role of a godly husband, should He choose to bless you with marriage. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11). Pray for a godly spouse and trust in His plan for your life.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Brandon. Lord, he is crying out for an encounter with You, a new beginning. Father, meet him where he is, as You did with Jacob at Peniel. Change his name, change his heart, change his life, Lord.
Help Brandon to walk in unity and love with his fellow believers. Give him wisdom and discernment in his relationships, and help him to be a peacemaker. Lord, heal his heart and help him to forgive others as You have forgiven him.
Father, help Brandon to see himself as You see him. Help him to focus on his inner character and to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit. Lord, if it is Your will, bless him with a godly spouse, in Your perfect timing.
Most importantly, Lord, draw Brandon closer to You. Help him to grow in his faith and to become more like Jesus every day.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
