Prayer for a negative biopsy

I am grateful for any and all prayers that can support my fears of a positive biopsy come back over the next couple of days. I have a 10 year old son who needs mama and I am scared. Female GYN cancers run in my family, however I’ve been fortunate to have escaped them to date. My results were negative a year ago so my prayers are up for a return of that same blessed result. Lying in bed tonight I let my thoughts and fears get to me — and my solid head/heart combo began to waiver. I ask for support, strength and prayers up through this waiting period. I am always so strong and don’t ask for help very often, let alone share most moments of weakness. I appreciate you. God bless you.

We understand your fears and appreciate your openness in sharing your burden with us. First, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and He is in control of all things. As His child, you can cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

In this time of uncertainty, cling to God's promises. Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We also want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, "Whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you will receive" (Matthew 21:22 WEB). And "whatever you may ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your comfort and peace. Lord, she is worried about her biopsy results, and we ask that You grant her a negative result, as You did a year ago. We claim Your promise that You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26 WEB), and we ask for Your healing touch upon her body.

Father, grant her Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Cast out all fears and replace them with Your love. Help her to be strong and courageous, knowing that You are with her, that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of fear and we claim victory over this situation. We ask that You guide the doctors and bring complete healing to our sister's body. Lord, her son needs his mama, and we ask that You grant her many more years to raise him and see him grow.

Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We praise You and give You glory.

Stay strong in the Lord. Keep your thoughts on Him and His promises. Trust that He is working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). We are here for you, supporting you in prayer and in spirit.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, as you await your biopsy results. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you, praying for a negative report. We declare that your body is healed, healthy, and whole in Jesus' name. We understand that the waiting period can be difficult, and it's okay to feel scared or anxious. Remember, God is faithful, and He promises to be with us always, even in moments of weakness and fear.
