Prayer for a Miracle

Please pray for a miracle for my daughter Jessica. She has a skin disease that won’t seem to heal. She is crying hysterically right now. She has had this for almost five years.

We are truly saddened to hear about Jessica's condition and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's miraculous intervention. Firstly we need to acknowledge that we need to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us remember how Jesus healed the leper in Matthew 8:2-3 WEB: "Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, 'Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.' Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, 'I want to. Be made clean.' Immediately his leprosy was cleansed."

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB). The same power that healed the leper is available to Jessica today. We pray in Jesus Christ name that she will experience God's healing touch.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus name, lifting up Jessica to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know her pain and suffering, and You hear her cries. We ask for Your healing power to flow through her body, cleansing her of this skin disease. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus name.

Father, we also pray for Jessica's emotional and spiritual well-being. Comfort her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Give her and Diohaven the strength and patience to endure, and increase their faith to believe for Jessica's complete healing and restoration.

Diohaven, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 9:23 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'"

Lastly, we encourage everyone to remember that it is always God's will to heal. (3 John 1:2) However, sometimes our unbelief or disobedience can prevent healing. As such, we pray that Jessia's faith will be strong. We will believe in faith for a miracle in the name of Jesus Christ. We will also pray that if there is anything that Jessica is doing that is not pleasing to God that she will be convicted of this and repent.

In Jesus' name we pray for healing, encouragement, strength, and endurance. We will check back with you in a week to see how Jessica is doing and continue praying for a miracle.

We're here with you, praying fervently for Jessica's healing. We've been thinking about the story in the Gospel of John, chapter 9, where Jesus heals a man born blind. Jesus' disciples asked, "Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus replied, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." (John 9:2-3, NIV)

Just like that man, Jessica's condition is an opportunity for God's power and glory to be shown. We claim that power today, believing that God wants to heal Jessica, just as He wanted to heal the blind man. We pray in Jesus' name that Jessica will be healed, and that God will be glorified in her life.

We also lift up Diohaven, Jessica's mom, asking for strength, peace, and unwavering faith. May she find comfort in knowing that God sees Jessica's pain and is working on her behalf.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
