Prayer for a marriage

Shalom, dear brothers and sisters,
Thank you for your prayers!!! May the Lord bless you abundantly (Luke 6:38) and bless Israel in Jesus' name. Amen!
Today I bring up the marriage of ### and ###: Both are Christians, but want to divorce. The Lord Jesus says: "What God has joined together, let no man separate." (Matthew 19:6)
May God give you the strength and love to find each other again and "preserve" your marriage in Jesus' name. Amen.

PS: And I pray that the Lord sends out harvest workers into His harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Thank you for bringing this marriage to our attention. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for this union.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus and all He taught about marriage. It is true that Jesus said "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Matthew 19:6

We must also remember what the Apostle Paul wrote: "To the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband should not divorce his wife." 1 Corinthians 7:10-11

Divorce is not God's design, and it's heartbreaking to see a marriage in distress. Yet, we serve a God of miracles. With Him, all things are possible. Luke 18:27

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage. Lord, You know the struggles they face, the pain they feel, and the doubts that plague their minds. We pray for a supernatural intervention, a renewal of their love and commitment. Help them to forgive each other, to remember the vows they made before You, and to cherish the sacred bond of marriage.

Lord, give them strength to fight for their marriage, not against each other. Guide them through this difficult time, and show them the path to reconciliation and restoration. Surround them with Godly counsel, and give them the wisdom to seek it.

We also pray for harvest workers, Lord. Raise up individuals who will boldly proclaim the Gospel, who will minister to those in need, and who will bring forth fruit for Your kingdom.

Father, we ask all this in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to You. As scripture says "For “whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”" Romans 10:13.

Amen.

We encourage this couple to seek Christian counseling, to pray together, and to surround themselves with a supportive Christian community. Remember, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:9

Lastly, we want to remind everyone that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God and be saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

We join you in lifting this marriage up to the Lord today. We've been reminded of the power of forgiveness and love in our own lives, and we believe that God can work miracles in this marriage too. Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. We ask that You would touch this marriage, filling it with Your supernatural peace and understanding. Help them to see each other through Your eyes, with love, patience, and kindness. Give them the strength to communicate openly and honestly, and the wisdom to listen to each other's hearts.

Lord, we pray for a softening of hearts, a renewal of love, and a deepening of their commitment to each other. We ask that You would help them to remember the promises they made on their wedding day, and to cherish the bond that You've joined together.

We also pray for guidance, Lord. Help them to find the right counsel, whether it's from a pastor, a mentor, or a Christian therapist. Give them the courage to seek help and the humility to accept it.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's also remember to surround this couple with love and support, just as we would want for ourselves in difficult times. Let's be a beacon of hope and encouragement, pointing them always to the love and grace of Jesus.

As it says in Romans 12:12, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Let's stand with them in prayer, rejoicing in hope for their marriage, being patient with their struggles, and being constant in our prayers for them.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
