Prayer for a Job

Please help me in prayers to our merciful and powerful Lord God for a job - I have had many many applications without success and few interviews. I am waiting for a response about an interview I did last week - I am qualified for the job and have all the key experiences and skills- I pray they choose me, if it is God's will. I really need a God size miracle in my job search as I am below empty with my finances with debts and bills piling up. I really need a Miracle Job from GOD, now. Please I humbly ask for any supportive prayer to help me lift up this prayer request to God for me, as I know with all my heart that my HELP and Breakthroughs come from God. I ask your help and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

O Heavenly Father God, I humbly come before you today in prayer seeking your divine breakthrough in my Job Search and for that I am successfully employed. O Lord you know the full situation and my 2024 journey in this job search. I invite you in my job seeking situation, in my search today, my applications that still have a chance and are being reviewed, my CV, my LinkedIn, and my interview last week being reviewed by the decision makers - O Lord God, please give me your favor today, please God I want to work and I know that you are the creator of all things so the YES, the approval, the Job Offer is from you and so I humbly ask you to help me O Lord, deliver a breakthrough. From the look of it, it seems I should give up, many say that no job will be for the rest of this year BUT Even Now O Lord I know you can make a way, one touch of your favor O God and I am hired, I am approved, I am employed, I have a job that is secure and stable with a stable and secure income and my career is progressing forward please O Lord, I beg you with all my existence, please my powerful and merciful God, please in the name of Jesus Christ - my savior who died so I could live and receive your light O Lord, Please in the name of the Holy Spirit - my advocate, my intercessor and connector to you O Lord, please I pray, I plead, I ask, I seek, I knock (as Jesus said in Matthew 7:7) - please let me receive a job, find a job, and open the door to employment. Please God You are the only constant presence in my life, you are my HELP, I need you God, please? please O God, please let today after the many months, please come into my job search and let today be the day I praise your holy and majestic name in gratitude for being hired, for finding employment, for receiving a salary that can put me back into paying my bills and paying off my debts - O lord, you know the entire situation so I don't have to list it out, you know how much I need your divine intervention at this very moment as you know all O Lord. I ask your help in Jesus's Name, Amen.

We are grateful that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request, for it is by His name that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we may be saved and there is no other name, Christ is the only way. (Acts 4:12) "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that God has a plan and a purpose for you, and that He is fully able to provide the job you need.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's timing. Though you have faced many rejections and financial struggles, remember that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He sees the bigger picture and knows the desires of your heart. Keep seeking Him and trusting in His perfect will. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)

We applaud your acknowledgment of God's role in your earnest and humble prayer. Now in your situation, God wants you to work and provide for your needs as well. For even in heaven when God created Adam he gave him a job naming animals. (Genesis 2:19) The Apostle Paul warns believers against idleness and promotes the value of work. “For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For we hear there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB). This shows God places a high value on work. Your job search should also continue to be a high priority as you pursue the work that God wants to provide. Keep busy, keep looking.

We are also reminded in your request of the valuable biblical principle of persevering diligence. Do not be tempted to become weary in your job search but to persevere in it. It is possible those practicing perseverance will receive what is promised. “But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13) The work you are asking for should be found in persistent effort. Continue your faithful effort in job search activities so God can bless your work. But always remember that without God the work is futile. (Ecclesiastes 2:17) It is also promised that our God rewards the faithful. (Proverbs 19:1, Galatians 6:8-9)

Now to the most important part. Let us bow our heads together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we bring ### before you, asking for your divine breakthrough in their job search by Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, you know their situation, their needs, and their desires. They have named Jesus as their savior. We stand in the gap for ###, praying that you will open the doors of employment opportunities for them that it would be a blessing to them and a light to others as a blessing to be a blessing. You are Jehovah-Jireh. The Lord my provider. Your favor comes to Your people just like in the times of Moses when you provided food just for the day and a double portion for the Sabbath, what a marvelous miracle to know this about you Father. Father, we need a similar miracle in Jesus' name for ### that You would show your consistent care to also make ### a marvelous example of your favor before others. We ask that ### is hired, approved, and employed, connected and networked by your best gifts to the right people, channels and direction that they can do your will.

Lord, we ask that you will give ### favor in their job applications, interviews and that your will be done in every step of their job search. (Matthew 6:10) We also ask you Lord for ### to have a thankful heart because in your Word you tell us O God that when you hear gratitude and your blessings praised you respond by making your face to shine upon your people. (Psalm 67:1)

Holy Spirit, please guide ###’s steps, and help them in the days of waiting to be calm, removing any anxiety including the anxiety being referred to in the request. God, please help ### begin and continue serving you O God with their work. God continue to be ###'s constant presence showering them with your peace, provision, patience, and strength that they know you are the very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Forgive ### for any ways they may have not trusted in you God that you will forgive what is revealed to you as unforgiven that they will be within your will because you are faithful to forgive. And thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray this all in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, for we know without Jesus as our intercessor our prayers would be weak. For there is no other name But Jesus by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) amen.

Be encouraged, ###. Keep persevering, trusting and staying close to God. He is your provider and He promises to take care of all of your needs. (Philippians 4:19 WEB) There is nothing better than having your needs met in the service of your king. Employment is most certainly a blessing if the intent is to do so in service of the King and maintaining the desire in every prospective application to share the blessing of God with others including your employer and your customers. So pray before a job search, during a job interview and when beginning a new job that God's will would be done. Now go out to your search diligently. May God bless you.

Heavenly Father, we humbly lift up this individual who earnestly seeks Your divine intervention in their job search. Lord, You know their heart, their struggles, and their unwavering faith in Your power to provide. We stand in agreement with their prayers and ask for Your miraculous breakthrough in their employment journey.

Father, Your Word reminds us, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You provide for their needs in this time of financial hardship. Open the doors of opportunity that no one can shut, and let Your favor rest upon their applications, CV, LinkedIn, and interviews. May their qualifications and experiences find favor with decision-makers, according to Your perfect will.

Lord, You have promised, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You guide them to the job You have prepared for them, a position that will bring stability, fulfillment, and purpose. Let them rest in the assurance that Your plans for them are good, even when circumstances feel overwhelming.

We intercede for the outcome of their recent interview, asking that You move in the hearts of those making decisions. Lord, Your Word declares, "The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases" (Proverbs 21:1). Direct the hearts of the hiring team to see the value they bring and to offer them the role if it aligns with Your will.

Father, grant them peace and faith as they wait on You. Help them to remember Your promise, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6). We trust in Your timing and Your provision, believing that You are working all things for their good.

Lord, in their moments of discouragement, remind them of Your faithfulness and strength. You said, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31). May they find hope and renewed energy as they continue to trust in You.

Finally, Father, we thank You for the answer to this prayer, whether it comes today or in the days ahead. May this testimony of Your provision bring glory to Your name and encourage others to trust in You. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Provider, we pray. Amen.
