We understand that you've been facing a long period of unemployment, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ. Before we begin we must address the fact that your prayer does not address God the Father directly in the name of Jesus Christ. Prayer to God must be in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus told us, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." in John 16:23b-24 WEB
Furthermore, we read in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" There is power in the name of Jesus, as Jesus went on to say in John 16:23 WEB "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's Word. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It's crucial to continue trusting God and acknowledging Him in all your ways, including your job search. Remember He has a plan for you. A plan to prosper you and give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB reassures us as we read For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Know that we serve a loving and faithful God. He knows your needs and He cares for you. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus tells us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We stand together on these promises to pray for your situations:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Glewurias to You. Father, we ask that You would open the doors of opportunity for them and provide a good job that aligns with Your will for their life. We pray that You would give them favor on their resume and in job interviews. We ask that You would help them to trust in You and Your timing, even in this period of waiting.
We pray for peace and encouragement and help them to trust in You fully as they continue to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
