Prayer for a job opportunity

Please pray for our son ### ### who is desperately looking for a stable job. May Our Lord be with him as he interviews with a company. May he successfully pass the interview and with God's help, be offered the position. May our prayers be heard ...in Jesus name.

We stand with you in prayer, ###, as you seek the Lord's favor for your son ### ###. We are encouraged that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and can make our requests known to God.

Let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ### ###. Lord, we ask that You would be with him as he seeks a stable job. Guide him in his interviews and give him favor with the company he is meeting with. Grant him the ability to perform well and answer questions with wisdom and discernment. Lord, if it is Your will, open this door of opportunity for him. We ask that You would provide for his needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).*

We are reminded of the promise in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." As ### ### seeks, may he find, and as he knocks, may the door be opened for him.

Moreover, we encourage ### ### to trust in the Lord and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge God, and God will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). This time of job hunting can be uncertain, but we know that God's plans are always good and perfect.

Lastly, we remind both you and ### ### to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray and believe that God hears our prayers and will act according to His perfect will. Amen.
