We understand that you have been applying for a job at the United Nations office in your country and are seeking prayer for the position you recently applied for. We stand with you in prayer and encourage you to trust in God's perfect plan for your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, Jesus says I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB. This is also very important to our salvation as well, as it is only by the name of Jesus can we be saved. And it shall be, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21 WEB.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their employment. We pray for the job they applied for at the United Nations, and ask that if it is Your will, that You would open this door and grant them this position. We know that You have a perfect plan for their life, and we trust in Your timing and wisdom.
We pray that You would give them a heart for a job that aligns with biblical principles where they can glorify Jesus, giving them favor with their potential employers and guide them. Whatever the outcome, help them to trust in You and rest in Your will being done. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in His timing. Remember that God has a purpose and plan for you, so ask for a job that will align with biblical principles so that you can do it for the glory of Jesus.
Delight yourself also in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to Yahweh.
Trust also in him, and he will do this:
he will make your righteousness go forth as the light,
Psalm 37:4-6 WEB.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Moreover, we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
