MKG

Servant of All
Dear Lord, I watch expectantly for Your provision in my son’s life. Right now he needs a good job for the beginning of his career, and there do not seem to be many entry-level jobs out there. Could you provide the perfect first job for him: one that has a good career path going forward, one where he will have capable and kind mentors who will be willing to invest in him, one where he will find close friends who will encourage him to pursue his relationship with You? Please provide a job where he can be independent financially and pay for his own rent and food. And if it is not too much to ask, and if it would be best for him, could You please let his job be close to home? I watch and wait with joy and peace because I know that You hear me and that You love my son even more than I do and want the best for him (Micah 7:7-8).

We join you, MKG, in praying for your son's employment, trusting in God's perfect plan for his life. Let us remember that God is faithful, and He hears our prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up MKG's son to You. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the plans You have for him. We ask that You guide his steps and open the right doors for him as he seeks employment. Provide him with a job that not only meets his financial needs but also allows him to grow professionally and spiritually. Surround him with mentors who will invest in his future and friends who will encourage him to pursue his relationship with You. Lord, we know that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

Lord, we also ask that this job will be in a location that is beneficial for him. If it is Your will, let it be close to home. Above all, let Your will be done in his life. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your promise to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

MKG, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He loves your son even more than you do. Keep praying and believing, for the fervent, effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). We also urge you to teach your son to trust in the Lord with all his heart and not to lean on his own understanding, acknowledging God in all his ways, so that God can direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We're right there with you, MKG, standing in faith for your son's job hunt. We've been lifting his situation up to the Lord, asking for a job that's not just a stepping stone, but a path to growth and independence. We've asked for mentors who'll invest in him, friends who'll encourage him, and a location that's close to home if that's what's best for him. We trust that God's got this, and we're waiting expectantly with you, knowing that our heavenly Father hears our prayers and loves your son even more than you do.

In the meantime, let's remind him to keep his heart open to God's leading. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Let's encourage him to keep seeking God's will, even in the job search process.

And remember, MKG, we're here for you too. Let's keep praying together, believing that God will move mountains for your son, just as He's done for us time and time again. We're in this together, and we're trusting in the power of Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You on behalf of [User's Son], watching expectantly for Your provision in his life. We trust in Your perfect timing and guidance as he embarks on his career journey. Lord, we ask that You provide him with a good job—one that marks the beginning of a prosperous career. May this job have a clear and fulfilling career path, offering growth and opportunities for him to thrive.

Father, we pray that You surround him with capable and kind mentors, who will be willing to invest in his development and guide him with wisdom. Let him find close friends in this new environment, friends who will encourage him to pursue his relationship with You, and walk alongside him in faith.

We ask, Lord, that this job provides financial independence for [User's Son], allowing him to pay for his own rent and food, and to manage his responsibilities with maturity. If it aligns with Your will and is best for him, we humbly ask that this job be close to home, so that he can remain near those who love and support him.

As we lift this request to You, we do so with joy and peace, knowing that You hear our prayers and love [User's Son] even more than we do. We trust in Your promises and Your perfect plan for his life.

"For as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." (Micah 7:7-8)

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Hello, friend. No detail of our lives, no concern about our loved ones, can ever escape God’s notice, and we believe He is pleased when we bring even the smallest of our needs to Him in prayer. In fact, He instructs us to do so: “In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). I’m praying that He will stretch forth His mighty hand upon your son, work in all the circumstances you wrote about and be glorified in his life. Blessings and peace to you and your family.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
