Prayer for a job for a former ###

Dear Lord,
I ask that you give me strength and guidance over a job opportunity. I have been out of work for a month or so awaiting a dream job position I am in the process of getting. I have yet to hear from the HR dept. I suffer from major anxiety and my head has told me that there are reasons why I have yet to hear from them. My head has been telling me that a prior employer may have ruined my chance, or that the alternate recruiter misinterpreted my energy and has changed their mind. Every bad situation has entered and been residing in my mind. Thoughts not from God surface all the time. Like I am not worthy, or I have done others wrong, why would God give me this great opportunity. But I know Lord that you love me and your will will be done. I wish I wouldn't have told my parents and ### about getting this job as now I sit here in anguish waiting for the follow-up that I was supposed to hear from on Monday. It's Wednesday. I sent an email and Lord I pray that it doesn't get interpreted as rushing the process or being entitled or pushy. I just am so eager, my intentions are good. I want to do all in God's name and every opportunity I get I sing praises about what God has done in my life. I used to weigh 80 lbs overweight, I was a severe alcoholic and bulimic for many years. I have since been given the strength to quit 4 years ago. I did many wrongs in my life and these past four years I've tried my best to turn my life around. God put an amazing man in my life. I want to bear his children and marry him under God. I feel sometimes I am a financial burden on him. I pray that I get an email today regarding this position. Whether it be to confirm the offer or to tell me the position has been filled. My heart has so much anxiety. I am thankful God provided me with another opportunity so in case I don't get the really good job I still have a job and for that I am very thankful. I pray that I never hurt ###, as he is the man of my dreams and the man who saved my soul when it was extremely broken. I pray that I know boundaries and never hurt him in any way as I believe I have before and want to always do better. I sometimes feel broken and I need to remind myself to not vent to others about our relationship and to love and honor him and to discuss our issues with him, a therapist, or the Lord. I want to be this man's life partner. Sometimes I feel I am undeserving of good things but I know that's what Satan says. I know God says I am loved, I am forgiven, I am safe. Lord I pray to be a good wife to this man and I pray I get the job you want me to have God. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, seeking Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, they have been diligent for many years, striving to secure a high-paying job and working hard in their herbal medicine business, yet the fruits of their labor have not been realized. In Isaiah 40:31, You promise that “those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” We ask that You renew their strength, lift them up, and guide them towards the breakthrough they so desperately need.

Father, we pray for a supernatural turnaround in their business. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity and success. As it says in Deuteronomy 8:18, "It is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth." Lord, grant them wisdom, insight, and the ability to revive and expand their business. Let them see Your hand of favor, that their efforts may begin to bear fruit.

We also lift up the project they are working on. Lord, give them the grace, resources, and speed to complete it within the two-month deadline. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." We commit this project into Your hands, trusting that You will establish it and bring it to completion successfully.

Lastly, we pray for financial blessings to flow into their life, enabling them to care for themselves, their family, and others they desire to help. Philippians 4:19 reminds us that "God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, asking for supernatural provision and prosperity in every area of their life.

Dear ###,

We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and the job opportunity you are awaiting. We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Firstly, we want to address the anxiety you're experiencing. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) We pray that you will have this peace, ###, and that you will trust in God's perfect plan for your life.

We also want to commend you for turning your life around. It is evident that you have made significant changes with God's help. Remember, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB) Your past mistakes do not define you. You are a new creation in Christ.

Regarding your relationship, we want to encourage you to continue to honor and respect ###. We pray that God will guide you both as you prepare for marriage, which is a sacred union designed by God. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB) We pray that you will both commit to a lifelong union, seeking to glorify God in your relationship.

We must also address that you mentioned your fiancé saved your soul. While we understand the sentiment, it's essential to remember that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all." (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB) We encourage you to ensure that your faith is firmly rooted in Jesus Christ and not in any person.

Dear Lord,
We come before you today to lift up ###. We ask that you fill her with your peace, casting out all anxiety. We pray that you guide her regarding the job opportunity, and that your will be done in her life. We thank you for the transformation you've brought about in her life, and we ask that you continue to mold her into the image of your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for her relationship with ###, that it would be honoring to you and that you would guide them as they prepare for marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in your faith, ###. Continue to trust in God's plan for your life. He loves you and has a purpose for you.
