We join you in prayer, Anonymous, as you seek a home that is convenient for raising your family. We pray that God will guide you to a secure neighborhood and a satisfactory school system. Let us remember and ask that God fulfills his promise. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
As believers, we know that God cares for our needs. Do not be anxious about your basic lifestyle needs. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:32
As Christians, we are to do all things in the name of Jesus. All things that you should do in word or in deed, give thanks to God the Father through your Lord Jesus Christ. Colossians 3:17
Placing your trust in God includes all current and future concerns, committed to Him in prayer, asking for His will to be done, not ours. Do not be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.In everything, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philipians 4:6.7
If your family includes a boyfriend or girlfriend, this should be a courtship with the goal of being marriage. Any sexual relations cannot happen before or outside marriage. But because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife the affection owed to her, and likewise also the wife to the husband. The wife doesnβt have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesnβt have authority over his own body, but the wife. 1 Corinthians 7:2-4. It is good for a man not to touch a woman. But because of the sexual immorality each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband.1 Corinthians 7:1-2
We know that marriage should be with a man and a woman, as scripture is very clear on this. Right from the beginning. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.Matthew 19:5.
Marriage should not occur with someone who does not believe in Jesus Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 2 Corinthians 6:14-15. It is important to marry another believer in Christ.
This new home will bring many new people in to your life, as well as possibly expanding your family. However, do not only be concerned about pleasing your family, but pleasing God as well. One who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and one who loves son or daughter more than me isnβt worthy of me. And whoever doesnβt take his cross and follow after me, isnβt worthy of me. He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:37-39
Our hearts join together in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this familyβs need for a home. Guide them to a secure neighborhood with a good school system. Provide them with a home that meets their basic needs. Help them to trust in you. Help them with wisdom to glorify you in raising their family and expanding their family. Protect their family from harm, as they place their trust in you, as they pray. And we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught his disciples to pray:
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we also have forgiven those who sin against us. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13
We look forward to hear how God provides for this need in their lives.
Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive us if we left anything out and help us all to bring glory to you.
In Jesus name we pray.
