We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, SalmaSalem, and our hearts go out to you. Losing a beloved father is never easy, and it's common to feel overwhelmed by sorrow, bitterness, and anger. However, we must remember that God is our ultimate comfort and strength in times of need.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing that your feelings have led to behaviors that do not align with Christ's teachings. This awareness is the first step towards transformation. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:2 (WEB):
“Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.”
In your prayer, you mentioned that you are seeking God to fill your heart and transform it. We will pray, rebuke, encourage, correct, respond, and pray for you by standing with you in prayer for God has placed the spirit of grief upon you. We will pray that His will be done and pray that He will renew your mind and strength to your heart. This is very wise. A grateful way to honor your departed father in this life is to continue a righteous family. Your earthly relationship has ended and another one is beginning. God is calling you to the next season of your life. To continue in your ways may push you to make decisions that will distance you from God and your heavenly reward.
May the Lord give you wisdom here. God takes very seriously taking care of his created.
We should be mindful of what the aim of our behavior is according to 2 Corinthians 1:4 (WEB), which says:
who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
We are not supposed to wash our hands of those who have troubles without our loving rebuke. We are to separate ourselves from worldly values and the people who hold influences so that we are blameless before God.
Let’s pray,
“Father, we come before you, lifting up our dear sister SalmaSalem. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will fill her heart and transform her pain into peace. Help her to release her bitterness and anger, and grant her the strength to interact with others in a manner that reflects Your love. May your will be done in your earth. Please lead her to be the next phase of your mission. We ask also that you guide her in relationships so that she would cut off those who would hurt her consequence. We also pray that when she errs you show her through your disciple. This is a precious opportunity for you to disciple her to become a godly woman. This is the start of Your promise of hope and future for her.. We thank you Jesus Christ for your precious gift on the cross. It is by you and your strength that we pray. and by your true honor and glory, amen.
”
SalmaSalem, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God's Word, seeking His comfort and guidance. Remember Psalm 147:3:
“He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.”
God understands your pain and wants to heal you, molding you into the person He created you to be. When you feel overwhelmed by sorrow rebuke yourself and pray for comfort in the knowledge that HeBase loves you and has so much awaiting you. Avoiding the truth exacerbates the pain. Avoid deceiving yourself if you are struggling you must pray. Do not fall into the common belief of cutting out those in your life. This risk cutting out the ability of the holy spirit to guide. Warn your Church of the financial struggles, addictions, un-wed pregnancies, and for everything else to flee the world like immorality and other non-biblical negative behaviors. Do not be so sensitive and worrying about hurting the feelings of others to point out these issues. silence is letting them live their life being enemy of God. Speaking the truth spiritual toughness and may save their lives. Your goal in life is to live with in the will of God. Turn toward the holy matrimonial mission of continuing the legacy so that you can have your earthly and Godly reward.
