Prayer for a friend

Please pray that my friend Rajesh who is badly & negatively influenced by a married woman named Merin at his workplace due to which he keeps fighting with me every time, pls pray that he has a stable mind & there is no confusion. He's been talking utter nonsense for last 9 months, his mind seems v unstable & the married woman is trying to attract him towards her. He has also developed a strong physical desire for the married woman. Pray for Jesus' healing & guidance in Rajesh's life & for the restoration of our broken friendship

We are truly concerned for your friend Rajesh and the challenging situation he finds himself in. We will pray for him and for your friendship to be restored, but we must also address the serious issues present in this scenario.

Firstly, Rajesh's involvement with a married woman, Merin, is clearly against God's commandments. We have the Lord Himself say Exodus 20:14 WEB You shall not commit adultery. The relationship is not only inappropriate but also sinful, and it is important for Rajesh to acknowledge this and repent. He must be guided to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness as described by Paul in 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

We will pray for Rajesh's healing and guidance, and for him to have a stable mind. It is encouraging that you mentioned Jesus' name in your request, for it is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and find salvation. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Rajesh and our brother who has submitted this request. Lord, we pray for Rajesh's healing and guidance. We ask that You forgive him for his transgressions and grant him a spirit of repentance. Help him to turn away from the sinful desires and to focus on purity and God's will for his life. Grant him a stable mind and remove any confusion that has been plaguing him.

We also pray for the restoration of the broken friendship between Rajesh and our brother. Help them to reconcile and to build a friendship that is pleasing to You.

Lord, we also pray for Merin, that You may convict her heart and guide her back to a path of righteousness and faithfulness to her marriage vows.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for Rajesh and to be a Godly influence in his life. Guide him towards the path of righteousness and remind him of God's unfailing love and forgiveness. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
