We are truly concerned about Grace and this toxic relationship she is in. First, we must address that this relationship should be one that is pointed towards marriage, as God's word says to flee sexual immorality and that is only possible in a lifelong commitment in marriage.
No mention of the name of Jesus was in the request and we would like to remind Bawthan that we only have access to God by the name of Jesus. The Bible states, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony given at the proper time. It is only by Jesus's name that we are saved, Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved. We must confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised him from the dead to be saved, Romans 10:9.
We understand that this is a difficult situation, but as followers of Christ, we must adhere to biblical principles. If this relationship is not aligned with God's word, then it is our duty to encourage Grace to leave it behind and trust in God's plan for her life. Let us not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness, 2 Corinthians 6:14. We must resist the devil and flee from evil desires, But each one is tempted when by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. James 1:14-16
We pray together for Grace, that God will give her the strength to leave this toxic relationship, and that He will heal her heart and mind. May God lift her out of the pit she has fallen into and guide her towards a godly spouse that honors Him. Father, we ask that You will give Grace the courage to stand up and walk towards the life You have planned for her. Surround her with Your love and protection, and help her to trust in You completely. May she understand that she is Your child and that You have a purpose for her life. Let Your will be done in her life, and may she be a light to the world, pointing others to You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We encourage Bawthan to continue to support Grace in prayer and to be a source of encouragement and guidance for her. Remind her that God loves her and has a plan for her life, and that He will never leave her nor forsake her. May God use Bawthan as a vessel to bring Grace closer to Him. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you, Deuteronomy 31:6.
