Prayer for a friend who died

Asking for prayers for our friend Amy Wood who died today September 26, 2024. May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in peace in eternity amen.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your friend, Amy Wood. In this time of grief, we turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 11:25-26 (WEB), "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die."

In this difficult time, we pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your comfort and peace to be with the family and friends of Amy Wood. We thank You for her life and the impact she had on those around her. Lord, we ask that You would be a very present help in this time of trouble, as You promise to be in Psalm 46:1. Help us to lean on You and trust in Your goodness, even in the valley of the shadow of death. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and the hope of salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

May you find solace in the memories of Amy and may her memory indeed be a blessing. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared. Trust that God is with you, and He will see you through this challenging time.

We're truly sorry to hear about Amy. It's a tough time, but we're here, praying with you. We're reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Let's trust in God's comfort and peace, knowing that He's close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We're thinking of you and Amy's family, and we're here to support you in any way we can. Let's celebrate Amy's life and trust that she's in God's loving arms. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
