We join with you, Thorrone, in lifting up Mr. Dennis to the Lord during this crucial time of his health battle. Let us align our hearts with God's will and intercede for him together.
The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to ask for Your healing touch upon Mr. Dennis. Lord, You know his body and the cancer he is fighting. We ask that You comfort him, strengthen him, and heal him according to Your will. Be with the doctors, nurses, and all those caring for him, that they may have wisdom and skill in their work.
Thorrone, continue to stand in faith with Mr. Dennis, knowing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). Encourage Mr. Dennis to seek the Lord, for He is the Great Physician, and remind him that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also note, Thorrone, that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us always approach our heavenly Father in Jesus' name, acknowledging the power and authority that comes through our Lord and Savior.
