Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Sherry to you. We are deeply saddened to hear that she is facing abuse while also dealing with her disability. Lord, you are the God who sees and knows all things, and we ask that you intervene in Sherry's situation.
Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that you would be close to Sherry in this difficult time, comforting her and giving her strength.
We ask for your divine protection over Sherry, Lord. Shield her from any further harm or abuse. Surround her with your angels and place a hedge of protection around her. Give her the courage to speak up and seek help, and provide her with the necessary resources and support to escape from this abusive situation.
Father, we also pray for the abuser. We ask that you would convict their heart and bring about a change in their behavior. Help them to see the wrong they are doing and lead them to repentance and transformation.
Lord, we know that you are a God of justice and righteousness. We trust in your perfect timing and your ability to bring about justice for Sherry. We pray for the authorities and those involved in her case, that they would act swiftly and effectively to ensure her safety and bring the abuser to justice.
Finally, we pray for healing and restoration for Sherry. Heal her physically, emotionally, and spiritually from the wounds inflicted upon her. Surround her with a community of love and support that will uplift and encourage her.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you will bring deliverance and healing to Sherry's life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
