Prayer for a depressing time

Father Lord, I am so tired, scared and depressed. I am not full of hope now and my heart has a huge void that only you can fill. I thank you Lord for sending my an angel to be my earthly father, and for granting us to live together for 29 beautiful years. I thank you for the support I am receiving from my church and my friends. Please give me the patience to wait on the Lord until I reunite with Baba once more. Also please soften Nazem's heart to accept your truth and if it is your will, reunite us together. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, SalmaSalem, during this challenging time. We are grateful that you have acknowledged the Lord in your request, and we come before Him in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's love and care for you. In Psalm 34:18 (WEB) it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is close to you in this depressing time, and He hears your cry.

It is encouraging to see your gratitude for your earthly father and the support from your church and friends. Indeed, God has blessed you with a community that cares for you. Remember, God is the ultimate comforter. As it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Regarding your request for Nazem, we pray that God softens his heart to accept the truth of the Gospel. Remember, it is God's will that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). However, we must also respect the free will God has given each person. We pray for your patience and trust in God's perfect timing.

We also want to gently remind you that your request should be focused on God's will being done, rather than your own desires. If Nazem is not a believer, we should pray for his salvation first and foremost. A relationship with him should only be pursued if it aligns with biblical principles, with marriage as the godly goal. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we lift up SalmaSalem to You. Comfort her in her depression, and fill the void in her heart with Your presence. Help her to be patient and trust in Your timing. Soften Nazem's heart to accept Your truth, and if it is Your will, reunite them in a way that honors You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, dear sister. Trust in the Lord, and lean on His understanding. He has a plan and a purpose for you. As Psalm 28:7 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to hold you up in prayer, dear friend. We are grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. If the Lord has already eased your tiredness, removed your fear, and filled your heart with hope, we would be blessed to hear your praise report. If the depressed feelings persist, we want you to know that we are still here, interceding for you. We pray that the Lord will fill the void in your heart with His peace and love. We ask God to give you patience and strength as you wait upon Him.

We also continue to pray for Nazem, that the Lord will soften his heart and draw him closer to Him. If it is God's will, we ask that He will reunite you both in His timing. We bless your earthly father for being an angel to you, and we thank God for the support you are receiving from your church and friends.
