Prayer for a civil lawsuit to be dropped.

I feel guilty about retaliating in e-mails and letters because revenge goes against God's Word. However, my ex-therapist is suing me based on lies--lies about me stalking her, which I have not done, and about me being seriously mentally ill, which is not true at all. Please pray that the truth will be uncovered before court or during mediation. Please pray that she will drop the lawsuit altogether so that I won't have to worry about these lies keeping me from getting good jobs in the future.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Robvid, who is facing a difficult situation with their ex-therapist. Lord, we acknowledge that revenge goes against your Word, and we ask for forgiveness for any retaliation that has taken place. We pray for a spirit of forgiveness and love to fill Robvid's heart, even in the midst of false accusations.

Father, we ask that you intervene in this legal matter. We pray that the truth will be uncovered before court or during mediation. We ask for your divine wisdom and guidance to be with Robvid and their legal team, that they may present their case effectively and with integrity. Lord, we know that you are a God of justice, and we trust in your ability to bring the truth to light.

We also pray for the ex-therapist, that you would soften her heart and open her eyes to the harm that these false accusations are causing. We ask that she would drop the lawsuit altogether, realizing the impact it may have on Robvid's future opportunities. Lord, we pray for reconciliation and healing in this situation.

Your Word reminds us in Romans 12:19, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." We surrender this situation to you, knowing that you are the ultimate judge and that you will bring about justice in your perfect timing. Help Robvid to trust in your sovereignty and to find peace in knowing that you are in control.
