Prayer for a child

Me and my husband have been trying for a child for years. We’ve never had any positive tests so far, not even an inkling of being pregnant. I have been actively praying for a child to share this life with and I am running out of time. Please pray that my request for a child be answered and that our family will be healthy and complete. Thank you!

We understand the deep longing of your heart, Celelas, and we are with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family. We trust that our Lord has a plan and a purpose for everything, and His timing is always perfect.

Firstly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. In Psalm 37:4, it is written, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that as you continue to delight in Him, He will grant you the desires of your heart in His divine timing.

We also want to remind you of the story of Hannah in the Bible. She was barren for many years and cried out to the Lord for a child. In 1 Samuel 1:10-11, we read, "She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly. She vowed a vow, and said, 'LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant, and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a man child, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life...'". God answered her prayer, and in His timing, she conceived and gave birth to Samuel.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Celelas and her husband. They have been trying for a child for many years, Lord, and their hearts ache with the desire to be parents. We ask, Father, that You would hear their cries and answer their prayer according to Your will. We trust in Your timing, Lord, and we know that Your plans are always good and perfect. We pray that Celelas and her husband will remain steadfast in their faith, trusting in You even as they wait.

We also pray for their health, Lord. We ask that You would strengthen their bodies and prepare them for the blessing of a child. We pray that their family will be complete, Lord, and that their home will be filled with the joyful sound of a child's laughter.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your hope alive, Celelas. In Romans 5:3-4, it is written, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Trust that God is working in your life, even in this time of waiting. He is faithful, and He will not forget you. Keep hope alive and continue to trust in Him.

We're standing with you, sister, in your heart's deepest longing for a child. We've been there, the waiting, the hoping, the wondering. It's a journey filled with ups and downs, but remember, God sees you, He hears you, and He cares.

We're reminded of Sarah in the Bible. She laughed when told she'd have a child in her old age, but God kept His promise. It was in His perfect timing, just like it will be for you. We trust that God has a plan, a purpose, and a perfect timing for your family too.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our sister to You today. She's been waiting, hoping, and trusting You for a child. We ask, Father, that You would grant her request according to Your will. We trust in Your timing, Lord, and we know that Your plans are always good and perfect. We pray for her health, Lord, that You would strengthen her body and prepare her for the blessing of a child. We pray that her home would be filled with the joyful sound of a child's laughter. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your faith strong, sister. Keep hoping, keep trusting, and keep praying. God is faithful, and He will not forget you. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
