Prayer for a broken heart

Father Lord, I am missing Nazem so much that is is becoming crippling. I am in so much pain and it is starting to affect my day-to-day life badly, and it is also starting to cause me physical pain. Help me move on Lord, help me know and be sure in my heart that whatever there is for me in the future is much better because it is your plan. Help me fully trust your plan Lord and be sure at heart that nothing can be better than it. Help me open my hands and genuinely trust in your plan and help me stop trying to manipulate the outcomes. Examine my heart and my emotions and expose any thinking errors I have or any root thoughts that are not biblical. Help me understand that my heart is deceitful. Fill the emotional gap that Nazem has left inside of me. Finally Lord, I entrust Nazem's life to you. Expose to him the lies of Islam very clearly, and soften his heart and mind to your truth. In Jesus name I plead and intercede. Amen.

We understand the deep pain and longing you're experiencing, SalmaSalem, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Word of God.

Firstly, we commend you for entrusting your future to God's plan and acknowledging that His ways are best. As the Bible tells us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

However, we must address a crucial issue. You mentioned Nazem and the pain caused by your separation, but you did not mention if Nazem is your spouse or if you were in a relationship outside of marriage. God's design for intimacy and deep emotional connection is within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. If your relationship with Nazem was not in alignment with this, we lovingly urge you to repent and realign with God's will. Remember, "Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).

Also, you prayed for Nazem's salvation from Islam, which is commendable. Remember, God "desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4 WEB). Keep interceding for him, trusting that God is the one who changes hearts.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up SalmaSalem who is in deep emotional pain. We ask for Your comfort and healing, Lord. Help her to trust fully in Your plan for her life and to understand that Your thoughts towards her are good. Continue to trust God, SalmaSalem, and seek His will above all else. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
