We join with you, Joy, in lifting up Miss Omega Bent and Marvette Brown before the throne of grace. In times of profound loss, it is essential to seek God's comfort and strength.
Let us remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB): "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Miss Omega Bent and Marvette Brown. They have suffered the deep sorrow of losing a baby and a grandchild, respectively. Lord, we ask that You envelop them in Your loving arms. Comfort their hearts and give them the strength they need to endure this difficult time. Remind them of Your promise to be near to the brokenhearted and to save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find solace in Your presence and know that they are not alone.
We also pray for Joy, that she may be a vessel of Your comfort and strength to these ladies. Fill her with Your Spirit, Lord, so that she can minister to them with wisdom and compassion.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
**Encouragement:**
Sisters in Christ, as you walk through this valley of grief, we encourage you to cling to the promises of God. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and will see you through this dark time. Remember the words of Psalm 56:8 (WEB): "You have kept track of my misery. Put my tears into your bottle. Arenβt they in your book?" God knows your pain and is with you, even in the depths of your sorrow.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
